Protection of women’s rights, women’s political participation and representation, and customary law issues are the three primary areas of the Constitution that require careful attention. Gender intersecting with ethnicity is a key to advance gender equality in Myanmar, which should be guaranteed in the constitution. A historical review on rights in Myanmar was also discussed.
Please read the suggested solutions in the light of the current situation.
